The attached pictures show a proposed ClinCheck at start and finish. How successful is Invisalign at distalizing these molars about 1mm to open space for a future implant. The patient is about 45 years old....

I have a teenage patient with a mesially tipped 2nd molar. I am interested in using some combo of invisalign and a wire or spring in that area. Any ideas? I enclose an xray of the area......
Has anyone had success with placing an attachment on the lingual of a lower premolar. I am going to treat this crowded lower deep bite case as a precursor to a full restorative case on the lower. The ClinCheck presents no room on the buccal of 28 for an attachment due to a collision with the upper tooth. There is plenty of room to place an attachment on the lingual of 28 and wondering if that is an acceptable option?...
Hello. I have noticed on many of my cases the maxillary lateral incisors do not track. I can see 1/2 mm incisal space between the teeth and aligners. I notice this often when there are large centrals and canines. In the clincheck I will ask for larger attachments on the laterals to help the aligners grip the laterals better. It is supposed to clean the aligner, freshen breath and whiten the teeth. I have had many patients use retainer brie with great results. The solution I am looking for is to tackle the halitosis issue. Thanks...

I have limited experience with braces but from what I understand you can move posterior teeth forward with better predictability than aligners. This patient already has retruded lips, so not sure that 4-5mm of retraction is going to help her. She's going to look 70! So my questions are: Would you recommend aligner therapy Would you leave spaces (ie...

Hi, I am looking into buying a new pan/ceph machine, maybe adding 3d if needed. Went to a tradeshow at my local dental convention and the reps were really pushing the icat. They're saying the exposure of radiation is less than a traditional 2d ceph, but I can't see how that's possible when you're scanning their entire head. Reps were also saying that 3d ceph is the way things are going. If we're buying a $200K machine, then we'd really need to maximize its capability and get more into airway...
