The attached pictures show a proposed ClinCheck at start and finish. How successful is Invisalign at distalizing these molars about 1mm to open space for a future implant. The patient is about 45 years old....
This patient only wants to improve his smile and doesn't want fixed ortho. I thought I could do that by just aligning the teeth in an edge-to-edge bite. The patient has some remaining open contacts between molars, but most importantly has a posterior open bite, and it does appear that anterior teeth are touching prematurely when he is biting. When I submit for refinement, what do you suggest to put in the Prescription and also in the Clincheck? Should I adjust bite prior to taking impressions and/or ...
