Dr. Ashkan Mehjoo was born in England and moved to North Vancouver at the age of five, where he grew up and attended Handsworth Secondary School. He later pursued his studies at Queen’s University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree with distinction.
Driven by a passion for dentistry, Dr. Mehjoo relocated to Cork, Ireland, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University College Cork, graduating with honours. He was honoured with the American Association of Endodontists Award for Excellence in Endodontics upon graduation. After completing his studies, Dr. Mehjoo knew North Vancouver would be his forever home, and he is delighted to return to beautiful British Columbia.
Platinum Invisalign ProviderCommitted to continuous learning, Dr. Mehjoo actively participates in several study clubs to enhance his expertise, particularly in dental implants and Invisalign therapy. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) and belongs to their Vancouver-based study group, which focuses on the latest advancements in Invisalign treatment. Dr. Mehjoo is a Platinum tier provider of Invisalign, reflecting his skill and experience in the field.
In addition, Dr. Mehjoo is a dedicated member of both the Western Implant and Surgical Excellence (WISE) Institute where he further refines his knowledge of the latest dental implant techniques. This commitment ensures his patients receive the highest quality care and most effective treatment options.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mehjoo enjoys golfing, playing tennis, watching his favourite sports teams, and exploring the stunning natural beauty of British Columbia.
