About the speakers
DR. DAVID GALLER
Dr. David Galler is a high honors graduate from the University of Pennsylvania College of Dentistry and member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He completed a general practice residency at the Brooklyn Veteran's Administration Hospital. Originally from Long Island, he moved back to New York and practiced for 20 years in Downtown Manhattan. After that he moved to Chicago, where he practiced in Skokie, IL and served as Senior Vice President of Aspen Dental. While at Aspen Dental he helped launch their Invisalign Program. For 2 years he trained, educated and mentored more than 800 Aspen Dental offices.
Dr. Galler has proudly transformed thousands of smiles with Invisalign® aligners. In just a few years after completing his Invisalign training, he became one of the country's top providers. As a featured speaker at numerous study clubs, webinars, national and regional events, Dr. Galler has created a strong following of practitioners wanting to learn more about treating patients with aligner therapy. His disciples (called Gallerites) are credited with treating about 20% of the entire North American Invisalign GP Case Starts.
Dr. Galler is credited with several key innovations in the Clear Aligner field, including GST (Galler Spacing Technique), Ortho Munchies, and the Galler Engine- Dr. Galler's own proprietary algorithm using the Invisalign Clincheck system.
Cory Ritzau
Cory Ritzau serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Shoreline Dental Studio and is the co-Author of the Building Your Dental Dream Team. He began the dental journey with his wife in 2011 de novo, and his offices have quickly grown to earn accolades as the top dental offices in San Clemente each of the past 10 years by the San Clemente Times. It was recently named to the INC5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2020 and has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in Orange County by the OC Business Journal in 2018-2025. He has had the privilege of being a 4x speaker at GRC and enjoys surfing, snowboarding, golfing and spending time with his wife and 2 kids.
Dr. Michele Ranta
Dr. Michele Ranta graduated in her home state with honors for her undergraduate and doctorate degrees at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ranta initially practiced in Chicago where she learned GST from Dr. Galler in 2009. She then sought out clear aligner education from every mentor possible several times a year and posting questions on the first AACA messageboard. She practiced as an associate in 2 large practices and coached the entire staff on how to be a successful Invisalign practice.
In 2017, Michele attended Reingage, which she repeated 5 times until she was an expert Gallerite. After 10 years as an associate practicing among specialists, Dr. Michele purchased a failing dental practice in 2019 and tripled production within 2 years by using iTero technology and clear aligner therapy and as the forefront of her approach to comprehensive dentistry.
Her teaching talents have been recognized by Align and is an innovator among the clinical faculty and a highly sought after speaker around North America. With over 300 hours of teaching experience, Michele strongly believes in comprehensive learning of Clear Aligner technique - from consult, ClinCheck treatment planning, case monitoring and finishing with a happy patient.
Michele is a proud American Academy of Clear Aligners board member and Fellow. She was rated the #1 speaker at the AACA convention in 2021 and 2022. She is known for being a clear communicator who is practical, relatable and approachable.
