Dr. Gertsen obtained his bachelor’s from the University of Florida, followed by a master’s in Biomedical Science from Florida Atlantic University. He then went on to pursue his degree in dental medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale.
He enjoys focusing on providing the best care using the most up to date technology. FL Dental Spa specializes in Invisalign, CEREC same day crowns, laser dentistry, as well as implants and other cosmetic procedures.
Giving back to the community has always been a top priority for Dr. Gertsen. As former president of the Nova Southeastern chapter of Alpha Omega, he helped organize the Oral Cancer Awareness 5K Run and Walkathon. He continues to be active in the local community as a board member of the Broward County Dental Association.
Michael became a Gallerite and a member of the OG Clincheck Cartel in 2015. He is honored to have become a fellow of the American Academy of Clear Aligners in 2024.
In his free time he enjoys supporting his Back-2-Back Stanley Cup Champions Florida Panthers, and traveling with his wife, Rachel. He also enjoys spending time with his Vizsla, Nora!
