Dr. Priyanka Mandal is a General Dentist serving the Orillia and Muskoka community in Ontario, Canada. Her academic journey began in India, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2007. She later pursued a Master’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University in Miami, graduating in 2011.
Dr. Mandal worked as a registered dietitian in long-term care and hospital settings in New Jersey, gaining valuable experience in whole-body health and patient wellness. While she found fulfilment in nutrition, her passion for dentistry remained strong, inspiring her to return to dental school in 2014 to continue her dental career. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 2016 (Fight On!)
Dr. Mandal has a strong interest in Invisalign® and clear aligner therapy. A pivotal moment in her professional journey occurred in 2022 after completing the Reingage 1 course with Dr. Galler, which gave her a new perspective on patient-centered orthodontic treatment. She later completed Reingage 2 and continues to expand her skills, with a growing focus on treating children and teenagers.Outside of work, Dr. Mandal is a devoted mom who loves to travel and exploring global cuisines, and she enjoys bringing that love of culture and food into her life beyond dentistry.
