Regina (Gina) is a dental hygienist currently practicing in Northern Virginia, the suburbs of the nation’s capital. As a southern belle, Gina grew up in Texas and graduated in 2003 from Greenville Technical College in South Carolina. With 20 years in the dental field, the most challenging thing is keeping herself relevant while balancing a growing family. Gina is committed to helping her patients show their inner beauty through their smile. In the last 4 years she empowered herself to confidently educate and explain the value/importance for patients to enhance their smile through clear aligners. Learning that patients that have straight teeth, have healthier teeth.

Being the positive person that Gina is, she can change the environment/culture around her. Gina wants the work environment to be a fun place for coworkers. There is always laughter coming from her operatory which puts her most anxious patients at ease.  Dentistry is a business that is full of real people: Doctors, Dental Assistance, Hygienist, Office Coordinators but most importantly Patients.

Gina is finding, in this phase of her career, transitioning to a focus on mentoring a new generation of hygienists. Never backing down from a challenge, she is excited to start the journey of being on the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) Hygiene Board of Directors. With so much success in her career, she stays grounded strong in her family, remembering life is more than teeth, she is living the mom’s life with 4 kids and her fabulous husband James.
