Dr. Rob Herron has proudly served patients throughout Southeast Kansas for 37 years, bringing decades of experience, advanced training and a commitment to exceptional dental care to his community.
A graduate of Columbus Unified High School in 1981, Dr. Herron went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pittsburg State University in 1985. He continued his education at Creighton University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989.
Committed to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, Dr. Herron has completed additional residency training through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, along with seminars and training in Invisalign and Cerec technology.
In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Herron serves as an AACA Board Member and is recognized as a Key Opinion Leader. He is also an Invisalign Platinum Provider, reflecting his dedication to professional excellence and providing patients with advanced treatment options.
Dr. Herron's wife Lori retired as a registered nurse after 34 years at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He has a married daughter, Andrea, who lives in Neodesha, KS with her husband Ty and two children, Kendall and Brett. Dr. Herron’s son Kurt practices Internal Medicine in Northwest Arkansas. His youngest daughter Liesl is married to Brad. They reside in Carl Junction, MO with their two children, Brooks and Margo.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Herron enjoys spending time with his family as well as raising small animals and gardening. When it comes to being active in the community, he is involved as a lead triage dentist for the Kansas Mission of Mercy project and is a proud supporter of all things PSU!
